Letterkenny Institute of Technology go down to Dundalk IT

LETTERKENNY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY suffered a 3-0 defeat in their second outing of Division One Group A of the Colleges and Universities Football League.

Dundalk IT ran in 3-0 winners at Oriel Park this afternoon, following the Port Road residents opened with a 3-0 win over NUI Galway last week in Galway.

Shane Byrne’s side started reasonably well but fell behind before half-time when David Hand opened the scoring before adding a second and the win was sealed by Conor McDonald.

LyIT now have back-to-back home matches against GMIT Galway on Wednesday, October 21, and IT Blanchardstown on Tuesday, November 3.
