Letterkenny Athletic Club’s New Year’s 5k took place yesterday morning at the Aura Leisure Centre.
The crisp January weather certainly shook off the New Year’s cobwebs for participants, with almost 50 turning out to take part.
Anthony Doherty was the first home with a time of 16 minutes 53 seconds. Anthony was joined by Gavin Crawford shortly afterwards (17 minutes 31 seconds), followed by Gerard Mc Granaghan (17 minutes 56 seconds).
The first woman home was Irene McFadden with a time of 21 minutes, followed by Patricia McKenna (24 minutes 20 seconds) and Marie Boyle (24 minutes 21 seconds).
