LAGAN HARPS HAVE been drawn against Cork’s Douglas Hall in the semi-finals of the FAI Umbro Women’s Under-18 Challenge Cup.

Brid McGinty’s team will face the Cork outfit at a neutral venue – yet to be decided – next month.

Lagan blitzed Castlebar Town at Milebush Park 5-0 in their quarter-final, with a brace each from Caoimhe Walsh and Amy Boyd adding to a goal by Amanda Callaghan.

The likes of Walsh, Ciana Brogan and Zoe Green have all played for the Republoc of Ireland at underage level and are features of this Lagan team.

Green played for the Under-17s as they topped their UEFA European Championships qualifying group in Turkey back in October.

While Lagan will face Douglas Hall, Castlebar Celtic will take on Limerick outfit Murroe AFC.

The semi-finals will be played on the week ending January 24th 2016.
