Kilcar manager Molloy: ‘Hopefully we can bridge that 22-year gap’

KILCAR manager Michael Molloy would’ve been content enough with his side’s 4-9 to 1-13 win over Gaoth Dobhair in Towney on Sunday.

Now, after that victory in the All-County Football League Division One, Kilcar can look ahead to an interesting tie against neighbours Killybegs in the RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta SFC on Saturday evening. The Towney-based club are looking to win a first title since 1993.

“We’d like to win the group but it’s championship,” Molloy (pictured above) said. “You have to beat the best to win it. Hopefully we can bridge that 22-year gap.”
