Kilcar club notes – Under-21s chase spot in county final

OUR Under 21s play Ardara in the county semi-final this Saturday. 

Check our website for update on time and venue. Our seniors and reserves got walkovers at the weekend as Malin did not travel, our reserves are due to play Naomh Conaill this Sunday at 1:30pm they still remain top of the table with just two games remaining while our seniors finished third in division one.

Big congratulations and thank you to all the young people who took part in Scor Na Nog this year, although none of the acts got through to the next level they all scored exceptionally well considering the high level of talent on the night.

Week Three Winners: €1,000 James Carr, Letir; €500 Anna O’Donnell, Ardara, €300 Michael Doherty, Bogagh; €200 Concepta Doogan, Kille, Michael O’Donnell, Ballymoon and Majella O’Donnell, Ballymcfadden.

This year’s AGM takes place on Saturday 5th December in The Parish Hall at 8pm

Congratulations to Brid Byrne, Mailinmore (pictured below with John Curran) the winner of the €5,400 club lotto jackpot winning numbers were: 5, 16, 22 and 23 and lotto plus numbers were: 9, 16, 17 and 24. This week’s jackpot is €2,000.

There was no winner of our Club Bingo so next week’s Jackpot is now €5,800 on 45 numbers. This Sunday’s winners were €150 Breege McCallig, €95 Mairead Gallagher, €70 Brendan O’Keeney, Marie Cunningham (Cuskerry), Kevin McGillycuddy, Grainne Reilly, Bernadette Gillepsie, Margaret Ann McBrearty and Ann Blaine.
