Keith Cowan targets performance as well as points as Harps close in on play-offs

KEITH COWAN WANTS Finn Harps to go into the play-offs on the back of positive performances in their final three League games.

A draw against UCD on Friday night will confirm a place in the play-offs while a win will see Ollie Horgan’s team guarantee themselves the second leg of the play-off semi at Finn Park.

Cowan, along with Thomas McMonagle and Raymond Foy, returns from suspension for this week’s game against the Students.

“One point is what we need, but we’re also looking for a performance,” Cowan told Donegal Sport Hub.

“We want to be going into the play-offs – if we reach them, and there is an ‘if’ there – playing well with a good feel in the camp.

“We want to get through the last three League games with a feel-good factor around the place.”

Cowan is the P.E teacher at Coláiste Ailigh in Letterkenny and was speaking at the Secondary Schools Cross-Country on Wednesday at the Finn Valley Centre.
