THE Intermediate and Junior Football Championship semi-finals are to take place on Saturday, with Sunday set to be left for the Senior Championship semi-final double-header to take the stage.

Sean MacCumhaill Park is to host Sunday’s double bill with Kilcar facing Gaoth Dobhair and St Eunan’s squaring up to Naomh Conaill.

The Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) have pencilled in the two Junior semi-finals for O’Donnell Park with the Intermediate games to take place in Glenfin and Killybegs.

Aodh Ruadh will face either Cloughaneely or Naomh Colmcille at Pairc Taobhoige in Glenfin on Saturday at 5pm.

The Ballyshannon side, who defeated Naomh Muire on Saturday – also in Glenfin – await the winners of the remaining quarter-final, with Cloughaneely and Naomh Colmcille set to meet in Ballybofey this evening at 8pm.

Also at 5pm on Saturday, south Donegal foes Naomh Bríd and St Naul’s will clash at Eamonn Byrne Memorial Park in Killybegs.

That IFC quarter-final in Killybegs will be preceded at 3pm by the senior championship relegation play-off between Ardara and Dungloe at 3pm.

The arrangements for the other SFC relegation tie, between Malin and Four Masters, and the Intermediate relegation play-off between Naomh Ultan and Burt have yet to be confirmed. The full schedule for the weekend is expected to be released tomorrow morning.

The Junior Championship semi-finals are set to be played as a double-header at O’Donnell Park on Saturday.

At 3pm, Buncrana will face St Mary’s, Convoy with the meeting of Letterkenny Gaels and Na Rossa slated to begin at 5pm.
