Bonner spent the first half of 2015 with Wexford making 12 first team appearances as Shane Keegan’s team won the First Division, ahead of Finn Harps, who went onto defeat Limerick FC in the promotion-relegation play-off.

After beginning his career at Derry City and featuring at underage level, Bonner played for Finn Harps in both the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
