TWO Finn Valley Athletic club members have been selected to represent Ireland at this weekend’s Celtic Games in Glasgow.
James Kelly (pictured above by Kieran Carlin) will take part in the U-16 shot-putt and Janine Boyle is in the U-18 sprint. It closes the season in many respects for these talented young Finn Valley athletes that have been prominent in both schools and club athletics nationally throughout the year.

Their season to date has been most encouraging and this provides further encouragement in development and as a learning experience . They have worked hard with their respective coaches John Kelly and Shauna Carlin to this point. The Games encompasses an annual three-way match between Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
