The Villa Rose & Jackson’s Hotels, Ballybofey have been announced as official hospitality sponsors of Jason Quigley, professional boxer with Golden Boy Promotions and current holder of the NABF middleweight title.
Hoteliers Tommy and Bridget Gallen are delighted with the partnership and have been keen followers of Jason’s athletic career throughout the years.
“We believe that having a professional world class boxer and athlete such as Jason come from this area is really positive and brings fantastic publicity opportunities,” they said in a statement.
“Jason is immensely proud of his Donegal roots and always puts the County and indeed Ireland on the map wherever he goes.
“When back in Donegal he can be found touring the Wild Atlantic Way and supporting local businesses.
“ We feel that Jason always takes the opportunity to give back to his community whenever he is home from the US, so we feel this is our way of giving back to Jason and we know he will continue to be an ambassador for Donegal over the coming years”.
It has been a busy year with the addition of Jackson’s Hotel at the beginning of 2017.
The hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme including the bar, foyer and bedrooms. 2017 was a successful year for Villa Rose having been named as one of tripadvisor’s Top 10 hotels in Ireland in the Traveller’s Choice Awards.
The statement added: “All the team at the Villa Rose & Jackson’s wish Jason continued success in his professional boxing career.”
Quigley is expected back in action in early 2018.
