Inishowen Under-12 girls squad selected for Inter league nine-a-side tournament

AFTER A SERIES of trials the Inishowen Under-12 girls squad have been selected to travel to Dublin this weekend where they will play an Inter league nine-a-side tournament.

They have been drawn in a group with Mayo, Sligo and Wexford and if successful will play the winners of the group including Dublin, Donegal, Kilkenny & Roscommon –East Galway.

Then the winners of that game will progress to the Aviva stadium in November to play the winners of the Southern group in the final before the FAI womens final. Another excellent opportunity and a big thanks to the Ladies League for their support in this venture .

The following players have been selected and are asked to report to Maginn Park this Wednesday at 5pm and Friday at 5pm. All travel details will be given to the players on the Friday.

Niamh Doherty , Connie Doherty ( Buncrana Hearts ), Katherine Doherty ( Clonmany Shamrocks), Kate McCallion, Erin McLaughlin & Sophie Murphy ( Sea Rovers ), Aoife Gallanagh, Corah McColgan, Louise Gallangah & Rachel McCallion ( Cockhill Celtic) Claire McCauley ( Moville Celtic ) Emma McCallion ( QPS),Emma Doherty & Nadine Doherty ( Illies Celtic ).

A big thank you to all the girls who attended the trials and the Under 12/13 & 14 trials will commence shortly for next season.
