CIAN MCFADDEN SCORED a last-minute goal to earn Cloughaneely a dramatic draw against Four Masters in Tir Chonaill Park this evening.

Four Masters 1-9 Cloughaneely 2-6

The sides were level at half time, due in no small part to 3 excellent one-on-one saves by Sean McClafferty from Sean OKennedy, Barry Monaghan and Darren Doherty.

Darren Doherty opened the scoring for Four Masters but Cloughaneely responded with three on the bounce from Darren Ferry (2) and Cillian Gallagher.

Dylan Ward netted for the home side but Cloughaneely responded again with further points and a speculative high ball was punched to the net by Paul Sweeney for a Cloughaneely goal. Josh Lacey, Patrick Reid and Darren added the Four Masters points.

The teams were level at 1-4 apiece at half-time.

McClafferty was at it again in the second half denying Dylan Ward and Patrick Reid for goals but Four Masters eventually opened the second half scoring with a Kevin McBrearty point. Sean O’Kennedy added another before Darren Ferry opened the visitors second half account.

Best for Four Masters on the evening were Dylan Muldoon, Sean O’Kennedy and Daire Quinn whilst Lee O’Brien, Darren Ferry and Ciaran Scanlon showed well for Cloughaneely.
