THERE was a strong turnout for Sean MacCumhaill’s 5k that took place in the Twin Towns on Friday evening.
The local Finn Valley Athletic Club dominated proceedings with the top five in the men’s race – Dermot McElchar was first in 16:35, with Kieran McElhinney second nine seconds behind. Third went to Colin McNulty with 16:50 and John McElhill clocked 16:59 and Gerard Gallagher came fifth in 17:22.
The first woman home was Karen Dolan from Enniskillen in 20:21.
