Here’s the draw for the third round of games in Donegal SFC

NAOMH CONAILL’S defence of the Donegal SFC crown continues next weekend with a home game against Termon.

The draw for the third round of fixtures in the 2020 SFC was made this evening.

Naomh Conaill have won their opening two games by a combined 36 points and Martin Regan’s side enjoyed a comfortable 0-18 to 0-5 win over Ardara today with Eoghan McGettigan kicking eight points.

Termon have suffered back-to-back defeats against Kilcar and Bundoran and they face a daunting trip to Davy Brennan Memorial Park.

Defending champions Naomh Conaill, along with Gaoth Dobhair, Glenfin, St Michael’s and Sean Cumhaills are the five teams who have won each of their opening two games.

Sean MacCumhaills have been paired with Glenfin as two of the teams with a perfect record will clash in Ballybofey in what seems to be the tie of the third round.

The draw was made for the third round of games after Glenswilly’s 2-14 to 1-13 win over Four Masters at Pairc Naomh Columba this evening. The draw was hosted by Damien Ó Donaill of RTÉ Raidio na Gaeltachta and conducted by CCC Chair Frankie Doherty and Donegal GAA PRO John McEniff.

St Michael’s and Glenswilly were paired but having met last weekend were unable to cross swords again, while the same occurred when Killybegs and Glenfin were drawn together.

As a result, Glenswilly were subsequently drawn to travel to Towney for a meeting with Kilcar, while St Michael’s will welcome Ardara to The Bridge.

Killybegs will host St Eunan’s and Glenfin will travel to Sean MacCumhaills for a tasty derby clash.

Bundoran, who defeated Termon yesterday, will host a Milford side looking to hit back after successive losses in their opening two games.

Days and times have yet to be confirmed by the Competitions Controls Committee, who say the fixtures will be announced tomorrow.
