WITH the All-County League being parked for a few weeks with the respective championships getting underway again this weekend, here’s how things stand.

All-County Football League Division One

Naomh Conaill missed the chance to go top of the table on Saturday when they lost 1-8 to 0-8 at Dungloe, so St Michael’s took advantage to move to the summit following a 2-4 to 0-9 victory at Glenswilly (photo above by Geraldine Diver, Glenswilly GAA Photos). Kilcar are still in the mix following their 4-9 to 1-13 defeat of Gaoth Dobhair, while at the bottom Ardara gained an important two points in their 1-9 to 0-5 win at home to Four Masters.

Leaders Termon were held to a 1-7 to 1-7 draw at Naomh Columba but that was still enough for Paddy McDaid’s team to make ground. That because Bundoran went down 2-9 to 2-7 in Killybegs and Cloughaneely lost 3-12 to 2-9 at MacCumhaill’s. Glenfin remain bottom after losing 4-14 to 2-6 away to St Naul’s, while Gaeil Fhánada are second last still having been beaten 3-12 to 2-11 at Naomh Muire.
