RORY GALLAGHER HAS named his Donegal team that will face Fermanagh in the Ulster SFC quarter-final in Ballybofey on Sunday, throw-in 2pm.

St Michael’s netminder will make a first championship appearance and will become only the 12th goalkeeper since 1956 to play in the Ulster SFC for Donegal. McGinley got the nod over Peter Boyle from Aodh Ruadh, with Paul Durcan still in Qatar and Michael Boyle recovering from a cruciate operation.

Karl Lacey has been handed the No 4 jersey with Frank McGlynn at centre-back.

Killybegs’ Hugh McFadden will partner Rory Kavanagh at centre-field. It will be the St Eunan’s midfielder’s first championship appearance since the 2014 All-Ireland final.

The winners of Sunday’s tie will face Monaghan at Breffni Park on Saturday, June 25.
