SEAMUS COLEMAN WILL MISS Everton’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United at Wembley.

Coleman has not recovered from the hamstring injury he sustained in the 1-1 draw with Southampton last Saturday at Goodison Park.

Coleman left the action in the second half, hobbling off to be replaced by youngster Callum Connolly.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez had expressed the hope that Coleman would shake off the injury in time to face United.

However, the beleagured Everton boss – who many feel needs a win over a simililarly-troubled Louis van Gaal-managed United to save his job – has confirmed that Coleman will be absent.

Martinez is also sweating on the fitness of defenders Phil Jagielka and John Stones for tomorrow’s game, as well as midfielder Gareth Barry.

Everton lost 4-0 to derby rivals Liverpool on Wednesday night at Anfield with Coleman sitting out the action across Stanley Park.

The Republic of Ireland international is expected to return well in advance of the preparations for Euro 2016, with Martin O’Neill assembling his squad towards the end of May.
