THE UNIFIED WORLD KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS have begun pretty well for the Donegal participants in Italy.

Patrick McFadden overcame opponents from Italy, England and Poland today and now has a final to look forward to on Sunday.

Chris McCrudden made light of an Italian opponent today and will be against opposition from Poland in a semi-final tomorrow.

While there was defeat for Daryl Orr today against Ukraine, he has another chance in a different category and will meet a Spaniard tomorrow.
