DUNGLOE ABC’S Jordan Saville has won gold at the Bristol Box Cup in England this afternoon.
Saville overcame Finley Dann from Devenport ABC in this afternoon’s 38kgs final.
Yesterday, Saville, who won an Ulster 9 Counties title earlier this year, defeated Kai Ademi of Downend in the semi-final.
Saville is in Bristol as part of an Ulster select. St Bridget’s Clonmany’s Raymond Donaghey is with the team as a coach.
Saville took a majority decision from the judges to tak the win, Saville edging the first and third stanzas with Dann winning the second round.

“He lost his second round but came back into it in the last round, taking total control again.
“It was outstanding boxing from Jordan. It was a brilliant weekend for Ulster boxing and a very high standard of boxing.”
