Goals galore as Buncrana get off the mark against Four Masters

Buncrana claimed their first win of the season against Four Masters at The Scarvey.

The first point of the game came for Buncrana thanks to the goalkeeper Harry Doherty scoring from a free eight minutes in.

Nine minutes later Four Masters got level thanks to Kevin McBrearty.

Cathal Canavan then hit a point to send the Donegal town men in front before Kevin McBearty got a point for the visitors.

Thomas McGowan’s goal extended the lead and Conor Rooney got in on the action with a point. McGowan had a good half getting himself another goal.

Ben Bradley got Buncrana their second point and the hosts got their first goal thanks to Oisin Hegarty.

Former Donegal forward Darach O’Connor got the second Buncrana goal and, before half-time, John Campbell had the ball in the net for Buncrana’s third major.

Buncrana led 3-2 to 2-4 at the break.

Four Masters got a point from Conor McDaid, but Oisin Doherty and John Campbell got Buncrana two points before John Campbell got his second goal of the day.

Four Masters hit back through Conor McDaid (2) and Patrick Reid to keep them in the game, but Buncrana did enough.
