Glenswilly overturn half-time deficit to overcome St Michael’s

Glenswilly overcame a half-time deficit to overcome a young St. Michael’s team and ensure their Division 1 status at the Bridge.

St. Michael’s 0-6 Glenswilly 0-12

Points from Cathal Gallagher with two and a Michael Murphy point from a free in the first half were cancelled out by points a brace of points each from Michael Langan and Odhrán McFadden to put the home side a head at the break on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 0-4 Glenswilly 0-3.

Playing with the wind in the second half Glenswilly tagged on points from Murphy with two and Joe Gibbons, Cathal Gallagher Francis Farrelly, Bonner and Caolan Kelly.   Odhrán McFadden replied for the home side but in the end Glenswilly got the points needed to ensure their survival.
