With Peter Friel taking top spot and brother Mark taking second in the MacCamish Cup on Sunday 15th at Otway Golf Club, it was the turn of third brother Philip who nearly took the title last Sunday in the Ferguson Cup.
Philip was just pipped at the post on BoT by Gerry Gallagher, who just did enough on the back nine to claim victory with 42 points.
Philip came in second place.
More action at Otway this coming Sunday when the title up for grabs is the Franklin Cup, another single stableford competition for male members.
