FINN HARPS CAME through the sticky test of UCD tonight in the SSE Airtricity League Division One play-off.

Josh Mailey’s goal sealed a 2-1 win on the night, which made for a 3-1 victory on aggregate and it means that Ollie Horgan’s team now play Limerick FC over two legs to see who competes in the Premier Division next year.

“We felt we could catch UCD on the break, but it wasn’t till the end till we got it right,” Harkin said. “The play-off was a key aim for us and the support was great tonight.”
