GARDAÍ are appealing for assistance in locating former Finn Harps player Austin Speight, who was last seen on Friday.

The 55-year-old Speight left his home in Blackrock Village in County Louth on Friday.

Speight is described as 5’8” in height and stocky build.

When he left his home, he was driving a white Chrysler Voyager (Registration number YY 64 MWD).

Gardaí are concerned for Austin’s welfare and anyone with information is asked to contact them at Dundalk Garda Station on 042 9388400, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

Born in Belfast, Speight played two League games for Harps in the 1981/82 season.

He was on the books of Stockport County previously and he has coached at a number of clubs, including Stockport, Manchester City, West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers.
