Gaoth Dobhair make it three wins from three with derby win in Dungloe

Gaoth Dobhair had the upper hand on Dungloe in this game played in strong wind in Rosses Park. 

Dungloe 0-5 Gaoth Dobhair 0-10

An even enough first half saw the visitors lead at half time 0-5 to 0-2.   Gaoth Dobhar played with the wind in the first half but Dungloe stood tall to keep out the threat of the Gaoth Dobhar runners in the first 20 minutes. 

Ryan Green opened the scoring with a point. A good pass from Darren Curran from the throw in seen Green fire over to get the scoring started.  

At the other end a minute later Eamon Collum levelled matters. 

The home side kept possession for the next 6 minutes before their attack was broke down and Gaoth Dobhar raced up the field and  James Carroll pointed from a free.   

Niall Friel pointed from a free on 14 minutes before Danny Rodgers pointed to put one between the sides as the game entered the final quarter of the first half.  

Dungloe kicking into the wind had to w11atch  their 2 free chances fall to the left of the posts and wide.

In injury time a James Carroll free and a point from Cian Mulligan left the half time score Dungloe 0-2 Gaoth Dobhar 0-5

Eamon Collum pointed for Gaoth Dobhar at the start of the second half pointing after a minute of the restart. 

Dungloe with the breeze in the second half still had to watch their efforts at shots go unrewarded and they waited 11 minutes before their first score of the second half from an Adam Neely free.

James O’Baoill pointed from a free for the visitors while Gerard Walsh registered a point for the home side on 48 minutes.

On 20mins Dungloe’s Ryan Greene was dismissed on a second yellow card.  James Carroll pointed for the visitors on 55 minutes and an Adam Neely Free on 59 minutes left a goal between the sides. 

In injury time Peter McGee and Eamon Collum tagged on two more points to leave the half time score Dungoe 0-5 Gaoth Dobhair 0-10.
