Gaoth Dobhair and St Eunan’s complete quartet for Senior B Championship semi-finals

THE SEMI-FINAL pairings for the Senior B Championship were confirmed this afternoon with Gaoth Dobhair and St Eunan’s progressing.

The draw took place this evening in Ballybofey and St Eunan’s will face Naomh Conaill, with Gaoth Dobhair and Ardara taking on one another.

Gaoth Dobhair enjoyed a 2-15 to 1-6 win over neighbours Dungloe this afternoon at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny.

Eamon Collum scored the only goal of the first half for Gaoth Dobhair, as they led 1-6 to 0-3 at the break.

Substitute Dylan O’Donnell scored a fine second goal for the side from Magheragallon, while Dungloe scored goals from a Mark Clerkin penalty and Paddy Glackin.

Then, in Ballybofey, St Eunan’s enjoyed a comfortable win over Glenfin. Michael Miller set the Letterkenny team on their way with a goal in only the second minute to establish a 1-7 to 0-3 advantage.

Then in the second half, Conor Moore and Brendan Maguire both scored a brace of goals to complete a 5-11 to 0-9 win.

Last night, Naomh Conaill defeated Kilcar, while Ardara came good against MacCumhaill’s in the earlier match in Letterkenny.
