TWIN TOWNS BOXING CLUB have a big night of action in store on Saturday night at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey.

With 16 contests down for decision, the Twin Towns club expects to attract a big crowd to Jackson’s with a number of big bouts on the card.

Cathal Gallagher (pictured above) recently won the Ulster Novice Intermediate light-middleweight title when he defeated Ciaran Walsh from Silverbridge.

Galagher overcame James Bates, Evan Kenny and then Walsh to triumph at the Dockworkers Club in Belfast – and returns to action on his home turf this weekend.

On Saturday night he meets Paddy McGee from Carrickmore in a homecoming bout for the recently-crowned Ulster champion.

There had been hopes that Irish senior light-flyweight finalist Donna Barr would be on the bill, but a match couldn’t be sourced for the Strabane woman.
