Four Masters through to Senior Reserve Championship semi-final after win over Kilcar

FOUR MASTERS completed the semi-final line-up for the Senior Reserve Championship following their quarter-final replay win over Kilcar on Saturday in Dunkineely.

Four Masters 0-10 Kilcar 0-8

With young Nathan Ward in top form in the first half with three excellent points and some other fine displays and scores from Paddy Reid, Benny Cassidy and Neil Ward.

Shane Gillespie had to depart through injury with Declan Mc Monagle as replacement. Half time score in favour of Masters, 0-7 to 0-3.

Second half saw Kilcar up the tempo and running at the Masters’ defence with Kilcar getting the opening couple of scores through Gerard McBrearty and Dermot McGinley but Four Masters came through in the end.

Four Masters meet Glenswilly in county semi-final on Sunday, October 4.
