Four Donegal teens in Ireland U-19 Women’s squad for double-header with Scotland

FOUR Donegal teens have been named in the Republic of Ireland U-19 Women’s squad for two home friendly internationals against Scotland next week.

Greencastle FC trio Roma McLaughlin (pictured above), Nicole Gordan and Sarah Jane McDonald join Zoe McGlynn, formerly of Lagan Harps but now of Sion Swifts FC in Strabane, Co Tyrone, have made Dave Connell’s squad.

Maz Sweeney from Fanad, based in Athlone, is part of the management team.

The Irish host the Scots at Pat Kennedy Park, Listowel, on Tuesday, August 18 (6.30pm) then the sides meet against at Tulla United AFC in Clare on Thursday, August 20 (11.00am).
