Naomh Colmcille had a comfortable win against Urris to extend their lead at the top of the Division 4 table.

Naomh Colmcille 3-14 Urris 3-6
Urris were to score first, straight from the throw in but it was a half to be dominated by Naomh Colmcille.
Ryan McErlane was in fine form scoring the first four points for the Newtown men in quick succession before Oran Hilley found the back of the net after McErlane won the ball in the middle of the park and laid it of to Hilley who put the ball between the keepers legs.
Willie Gillespie and Matthew Crossan got on the scoring board before Gerard Curran stormed up the field to add another point for the Newtown men.
Urris answered back with a point. Then came another goal from the inspired Newtown men. the ball was picked up by Curran on the halfway line and he found Ciaran Devine who riffled the ball into the top corner of the net to give Newtown a comfortable lead early in the first half.
Things were to get worst for Urris as a John Fullerton turnover in the halfback line and a well worked drive up the field set up Divine again who drilled the ball into the bottom corner.
Strong running up the field from Curran set up handy frees for Crossan who converted them with ease.
William Lynch was also having a stormer in the middle of the field with Oran Hilley and John Fullerton working hard also.
As the half time whistle blew, Naomh Colmcille had a 3-10 to 0-3 point lead.
The second half started the same as the first with Urris collecting the ball from the throw in and working the ball up the field for a score.
Urris begin to find their way into the game with a goal coming from a long kick into the danger zone and their full forward connected with the ball to send it to the back of the net.
Newtown responded with a point from Micheal Friel and Devine before Urris found the net again to make the game a bit more interesting.
Urris were to find the back of the net again and suddenly it seemed possible for them to stamp their presence on the game.
Another Michael Friel point and a point from Hilley was enough to end the game as Naomh Colmcille came away with a 3-14 to 3-6 point win.
