Finn Valley overcame Raphoe in Monday night’s Donegal Women’s League Under-12 Charity Shield, at Cappry Park in aid of Bumbleance.

Valley came out on top in a five-goal thriller before a big crowd.
Finn Valley took the lead when Sarah Conaghan fired home underneath Raphoe ‘keeper Libby Sachs.
However, Raphoe got back on level terms when Shania McMonagle, after a brilliant burst from midfield, fired home a cracking shot.
Early in the second half, Conaghan restored the Valley lead, shooting home in off the post.

A titanic finish was set up when, after great work by Rocha McCullagh, McMonagle got her second of the game for Raphoe, but Finn Valley held on for the win.
