Finn Valley Boxing Club had a fantastic weekend with boxers taking part in the Monkstown Box Cup, the biggest amateur boxing competition in Europe.
A total of 921 boxers taking part and Finn Valley came home with two Bronze for Leon Gallagher and Kai Weir, a Silver medal for Leah Gallen and a Gold medal for Eoin McGarrell.
Also well done to Oisin McHugh who came out on the wrong side of an exciting battle but it wasn’t his day this time.
Everyone boxed their hearts out putting in outstanding performances to achieve their successes and it is all down to the hard work of the boxers and coaches for the last 11 months.
Thanks to everybody for your hard work and dedication this season.
Don’t forget, Finn Valley’s annual skipathon is taking place this Saturday July 9th on Main Street Ballybofey from 12 to 5.
This is a major fundraising event for the club which the public have supported extremely well in the past and your continued support is greatly appreciated.
