FINN Valley AC have announced details of two ‘Little Athletics’ meets later this month.
The events take place on Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30.
On 29th, the event is open for children born from 2010-2014.
On July 29, those born in 2010, 2011 and 2012 will compete in 60m, 600m, long jump and turbo with a 60m event for children born in 2013 or 2014.
The following evening, a further range of events will be held for children born in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
For the 2007 and 2008 groups, there will be 60m, 75m hurdles, 800m, high jump, javelin and shot put events with 2009 children to compete in 60m, 600m, long jump and turbo.
A 1km walk event will be held for these age groups on July 30th.
Entry fee of €5 covers all events.
Registration each evening from 5pm with competition underway at 6pm.
