FINN Harps will be able to host 800 fans for Friday night’s visit of St Patrick’s Athletic to Finn Park.

The club has confirmed that the permitted attendance has increased meaning many fans will be back in the venue for the first time since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Harps moved off the relegation play-off spot thanks to a 3-0 win at bottom club Longford Town on Saturday.

Some away fans were in attendance as Ryan Rainey and Sean Boyd netted after an early own goal put Ollie Horgan’s team in front.

In a statement announcing the ticketing arrangements, Harps said:

Finn Harps FC are delighted to confirm that the permitted attendance for the match vs St Pat’s this Friday 20th August at Finn Park (KO 8pm) has been set at 800 patrons.

We look forward to welcoming many fans back to Finn Park who have not been able to attend in a long time and to having their vocal backing as Ollie Horgan’s charges look to make it three league wins on the bounce.

Tickets are now on sale at www.finnharps.ie/tickets and an electronic ticket will be issued by email which can be printed or scanned on a smartphone to access the match.

Please note that in order to comply with COVID 19 protocols entry to the match will be by ticket only, with no tickets available for sale on the night. You MUST buy a ticket in advance to ensure entry.

If securing an online ticket is a problem for any reason, please ask a friend or family member for assistance, and if you know someone who may have difficulty with online sales please check in with them and see if they need help.

If anyone needs further assistance with purchasing tickets, please contact the club office on 074-9130070 between 10am and 3pm on Wednesday or Thursday or call in-person during those times. (Maximum of 1 person in the office at a time.

Please wear a mask and follow all public health guidelines if attending in person).

Please also note the following important points:

– Tickets will be assigned to a specific entry point and area of the ground. Please arrive early to avoid delay at entrances and note that you will be required to stay in your allocated area (rain or no rain!).

– A limited number of seats are available and entry to seats can be purchased inside the ground on the night. Please purchase a ticket for the Covered Terrace and approach a member of the match night team on arrival. Note that priority will be given to the elderly or persons with disabilities where required.

– An allocation has been provided to St Pat’s supporters. This allocation has already sold out. Away fans will be located on the Scoreboard side of the ground and should enter via Chestnut Road (Aldi entrance).
