Finn Harps Girls Academy is looking forward to its third year coaching girls at its grounds in Crossroads, Killygordon.

Over the last two years the Girls Academy has gone from strength to strength with girls attending from all parts of Donegal – from Killybegs to Carndonagh and – from Gweedore to Lifford as well as many girls making the short trip from Tyrone.

The girls attending receive top class coaching from qualified coaches and then return to their clubs for games.

Clubs have been very supportive as they can see the benefit of extra coaching at a high level for their girls.

Many of the girls attending have represented their leagues, their counties and their clubs at various competitions over the two years whilst a number have been selected on National Development  Squads.

Finn Harps is extremely proud of its input and is grateful to the clubs for encouraging the girls to attend.

Over the next few weeks the Girls Academy is giving all girls born 2005, 2006 and2007 the opportunity to attend the sessions at the Crossroads.

Times are Sundays 9:30am to 11:00am. Bring water, training gear, rainwear, shinpads and boots. Sessions are free of charge.

If you would like to attend just come along and meet other like-minded girls.
