Finesse Juniors set to make their International debut

Finesse Gymnastics Display Club’s Junior Squad has been working extremely hard over the past number of months in preparation for their first ever international competition.

The club’s Junior Squad which consists of 15 young gymnasts will be competing at the Sapphire Festival of Gymnastics, in Glasgow on 8th October.

The girls will be performing their carnival themed routine entitled, “Let the Show Begin” alongside the top teams from all over the UK and Ireland.

The gymnasts, who hail from all over Donegal, along which their coaches; Meganne Herron, Linda Bennett and Connell Herron will be travelling to the event hoping that their endeavours and hard work pays off.

The team hope that their routine which combines gymnastics, dance and sports acro will impress the judges so that they may end up on the podium; following in the footsteps of Finesse’s Senior Team who previously took Best Overall Senior Team at the event in 2014.

Junior Squad Team Members: Cáit Mc Garvey, Seda Gercek, Mia McGarrigle, Kayleigh Gallagher Kenny, Brooke Gillen, Ciara McDevitt, Ola Rzymska, Julia Migut, Nicola Canning, Sequoya Mc Menamin, Lauren McMenamin, Ellen O’Connell, Ella McBride, Ruby McBride, Ella Martin.
