Everton might’ve lost but ‘outstanding’ Seamus Coleman got serious praise on Twitter

EVERTON WENT DOWN to Liverpool in the Barclay’s Premier League at Goodison Park tonight when Sadio Mane scored the only goal in the fourth minute of injury time.

One man who didn’t let the side down was Seamus Coleman, who had a fine performance for the home team at Goodison Park.

The Killybegs native was right in the action from the start with a number of penetrating runs and crosses and kept the score at 1-0 in the 97th minute with a clearance off the Everton line from Roberto Firmino.

Here’s what the world of Twitter made of it …

Seamus Coleman is world class, deserves a big money move this summer

Seamus Coleman, what a performance, the best RB in the PL #EVELIV

Have to say Seamus Coleman is some player..Deserves to play at a much better club than the ev..By far the best RB in the league

—

One last gripe about tonight. The indie-music loving introvert, Leighton Baines, being handed the captain’s armband over Seamus Coleman.

Even as a @LFC fan I can’t help but love watching @seamiecoleman23 play. He is the best right back in the league #passion

That was massive win for Liverpool and a big 3 points. On another note, Seamus Coleman the best right back in the world? Different class

Seamus Coleman man of the match, two teams were well up for it tonight #MNF

Seamus Coleman give everything there tonight. Some Everton players need to have a look at him and start matching his effort.#EFCvLFC

Seamus Coleman should be playing in the champions league. Incredible performance against an onslaught in second half.

Seamus Coleman has had a wonderful 9/10 performance. Barkley and Lukaku 4s.. they look clumsy. #EVELIV #LFC

Seamus Coleman should be the replacement for dani alves at Barcelona, what a player

Seamus Coleman is the closest thing to god on this earth

— Oran (@Kidney_Failure) December 19, 2016

Seamus Coleman could play for any side in world football as far as I’m concerned. One of the very best there is.

A lot of English folk wishing Seamus Coleman was English #EVELIV
