EDDIE BRENNAN SAW his St Eunan’s side produce a fine showing to overcome Slaughtneil in the St Paul’s Ulster Club Minor Tournament quarter-final in Belfast this afternoon.

Brennan, who is joint-manager alongside Ciaran Maguire and Paul Carr, were calling the shots as the Letterkenny team recorded a 0-16 to 2-7 victory against the Derry champions in west Belfast.

“The boys just want to play football,” Brennan said. “That want to work hard, tackle hard and play football and that’s what we want them to do. The effort was there. We’re confident in the squad we have. We’ve a squad full of honest young fellas.”
