Eamon McConigley to continue at the helm of Donegal Youth League select

THE Donegal Youth League has confirmed that Eamon McConigley will continue to take charge of its representative team for the FAI Youth Inter League competition for the season ahead.

Current Letterkenny Rovers manager McConigley (pictured above by Stephen Doherty) will see his squad begin their quest for All Ireland glory with games against the Inishowen Youth League, the Mayo Youth League and the Sligo/Leitrim League. The first of these games are down for decision on the weekending October 31.

Meanwhile, a delegate meeting of the Donegal Youth League will be held on Monday, August 10,at the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny commencing at 8pm. All clubs who intend to participate in the upcoming season must attend and have their affiliation fees paid on the night.

It’s expected that at least 10 teams will compete in this year’s league with Erne Wanderers,Drumkeen United and Milford United’s joined by Fanad United, Swilly Rovers, Letterkenny Rovers, Bonagee United, Gweedore Celtic, Keadue Rovers and Illistrin United. The league is expected to get underway on the weekending September 13.
