Dungloe club notes – final registration on Easter Saturday

The seniors played Naomh Mhuire at The Banks on St.Patricks day. Goals by Adam Neely and Conor Greene fired Dungloe to a derby win, booking their place in a county semi-final of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta. The final score was Naomh Muire 0-08 Dungloe 2-08.

The seniors & reserves got their league campaign underway this afternoon to St.Michaels at Rosses Park, with a fantastic turnout of support. Both teams got of to a winning start.
The reserves on a scoreline of 3-06 to 1-10. The all important goals coming from Martin McGarvey & Alan Rodgers.
The seniors had a very strong performance, winning 2-11 to 1-05. The goal coming from Darren Curran & the other a long distance shot which fell handsomely into the back of the net!! Some very good scores in particular from Shaun Sharkey. It was a good spirited performance, with Boyle’s men thoroughly deserving of their two points.

The minors played their second league game of the year away to Killybegs on Friday evening, winning on a score line of 3-11 to 1-13.

The ladies are hosting a 5k family fun run / walk on Friday the 25th of March. Registration will be at the club house at 4:30pm with the run beginning at 5:30pm. Entry is €5 or €20 for a family. There will be refreshments served also in the club house after. It will be a great way to start of the Easter weekend!

ODonnells Crolly

Final underage registration/membership of CLG An Clochán Liath for boys and girls, football and hurling,  takes place Easter Saturday at the clubhouse between 10-12. If your child is part of a team this year, they MUST be registered with the club and have membership paid. For further information, contact Adrian Alcorn on 0868591071.

Under 6 & Under 8 Football training resumes at 10am in the RCS sports hall this Saturday the 26th of March. Please ensure that every child is registered. Forms for registration will be available this Saturday for completion. Cost of each session is 2 euro per child. Please remember warm clothes, mouth guard and water bottle for each child.
