A 57th minute goal by Micheál Mac Suibhne helped fire Coláiste Ailigh to glory in a frenetic finish to today’s Donegal School’s Senior B final against Magh Éne.

Coláiste Ailigh 1-12 Magh Éne 0-9

Seosamh Mac Ceallabhuí’s team were in arrears with time fast ticking, but they ground out the dramatic win to clich the prize.

Brian Mac an tSaoir landed a wonder score and when Niall Ó Hannagáin leveled the tie, the pendulum had begun to point in the Letterkenny school’s favour.

The golden goal came when Mac Suibhne rattled to the net after a long ball into the mixer broke invitingly.

Jeaic Mac Ceallabhuí, Mac an tSaoir and Sean Ó Braoin clipped on points as Coláiste Ailigh stretched the advantage in an unbelievable finish.

The Bunroan side led by three points at half-time, when they were 0-7 to 0-4 ahead.
