THE ULSTER Minor Championship-winning Donegal team from this summer will be honoured at a function this Friday night.

Shaun Paul Barrett’s team won an Ulster Minor League and Championship double in what was the Milford clubman’s first year at the helm.

The Vice President of the Ulster Council Mr Oliver Galligan will be in attendance to present the medals on the night.

Donegal subsequently defeated Cork 2-13 to 0-13 – Jason McGee and Shane McGrath with the goals – in an All-Ireland quarter-final, but bowed out following a 2-12 to 1-11 semi-final loss against Galway.
