The Donegal U16 ladies begin their Ulster Championship campaign this afternoon when they travel to face Monaghan in Inniskeen.
Greg Harkin’s side head for the Farney County in confident tune. The game takes place at Inniskeen at 2.30pm.
Harkin is aided by Barry Ward, Joanne McKenna and Lorena Barron.
“We’ve been together since the development squad last autumn,” Harkin said.
“There’s a great atmosphere in the camp and the new astro turf pitch at St Eunan’s has really helped our preparations. Coláiste Ailigh has also been extremely helpful as always.
“Most of the girls would have been with me in the panel at U14s two years ago, but there are also a few new faces, girls who really progressed last year with the development squad.
“So there is a good healthy competition for places. We’re all really looking forward to the trip to Inniskeen.”
