THREE DONEGAL PLAYERS were part of the Dublin City University side that overcame NUI Galway this evening in the Corn Daithi Billings (Freshers A) semi-final.

Naomh Ultan’s Daniel Gallagher was joined by St Eunan’s pair Michael Miller and Conor Morrison as DCU enjoyed a comfortable 5-8 to 0-4 win in Mullingar over an NUI Galway team that had Na Rossa’s Christian Bonner, while Glenswilly’s Cormac Callaghan and Jamie Brennan from Bundoran came off the bench.

DCU, who won the Freshers A All-Ireland League against UUJ in December, take on UCD in the final at Croke Park on Monday.
