St Johnston’s Toland, who plays for Maiden City, was part of the Irish Under-17 side who topped their recent qualifying group with wins over Faroe Islands, Belarus and Iceland in Cork.

They are now awaiting the draw for the Elite Qualifying Round.

The Deele College student is joined on the Under-16 selection by Moville Community College’s McClenaghan, who plays for Greencastle United, and by Boyle-Carr, who hails from Fintown and plays with Donegal Town FC.
