Donegal captain Michael Murphy is this week’s Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s.
Murphy had just 59 votes to spare on Donegal ladies ace Geraldine McLaughlin when the sums were totted.
The Glenswilly man – who kicked nine points for Donegal in their win over Roscommon last Saturday – took 259 votes (46 per cent of the 564 votes that wee cast).
Murphy was unstoppable as he powered Donegal to a seven-point win.
Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jersey and a half-zip, supplied by O’Reilly’s.
The award winner will be chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.
