DONEGAL SPORT HUB are proud to officially announce a partnership with our main sponsor, the Radisson Blu Hotel Letterkenny.

The Donegal Sport Hub team of Charlie Collins, Chris McNulty and Alan Foley and sales manager Michael ‘Cliffy’ Kelly will team up with the hotel, which continues the sporting link with the family of Paul Byrne – the managing director of the Radisson Blu Hotel Letterkenny.

The Byrne family started business in Liscooly 98 years ago where they still have a shop and filling station to this day.

After almost 30 years in the oil business, in 2003 they opened their latest business, the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny.

“We are proud to continue to serve the people of Donegal in our hotel in the heart of Letterkenny,” Paul Byrne said. “We greatly value the tremendous support that the local community have given to our hotel. All our family have grown up loving sport like everyone else in Donegal.

“I am delighted to announce our partnership with Donegal Sport Hub. We are delighted to support this exciting venture with Charlie Collins and his colleagues bringing the best of sport to Donegal people all over the world.”

Charlie Collins of Donegal Sport Hub was similarly enthused.

“Chris, Alan and I are delighted that the Byrne family’s Radisson Blu Hotel will be our main sponsors for the next year,” he said.

“Paul’s family have been in business in the county for almost a century now, both serving and supporting the local community, which in turn has supported them.

“It’s no coincidence that one of the Byrne family has shown faith and confidence in our project here at Donegal Sport Hub. as back in 1992 Paul’s dad Pete’s Finn Valley Oil was the company that sponsored live coverage of Donegal’s first ever All-Ireland SFC win on that unforgettable September day.”

Donegal Sport Hub is a website dedicated to sport in the county, consisting of rolling news, features, podcasts, video and audio from all strands of sport.

“We have no doubt the Byrne family and the Radisson Blu are the perfect fit for Donegal Sport Hub,” Charlie Collins added. “They perfectly fit Donegal Sport Hub’s vision of providing the people of Donegal – wherever they may be in the world – with their ‘sporting fix in just one click’.”
