THE DONEGAL LEAGUE will host Sligo-Leitrim on Sunday to see who joins the Inishowen League in the next round of the Oscar Traynor Cup.

Brian Dorrian’s Donegal side opened with a 5-0 away win at Cavan-Monaghan before losing out 2-1 to the Inishowen League last Sunday.

Sligo-Leitrim, for their part, also have three points but an inferior goal difference having lost 7-4 to Inishowen before beating Cavan-Monaghan 4-1.

So, should Donegal avoid a defeat at the Moss, Drumoghill, on Sunday at 2pm, they will progress.

The Inishowen League – the reigning champions – have all but guaranteed top spot and will take on Cavan-Monaghan away on Saturday in Cootehill, kicking-off at 6pm.
