AMY BOYLE CARR AND Tyler Toland have been included in the Republic of Ireland Under-15 squad for next Sunday’s friendly against England at Gigg Lane.
Boyle Carr (above) played last weekend in a 1-0 win over Northern Ireland while Toland is on the way back from injury and will be aiming to be included against England.
The Irish will be hoping to give a better account of themselves away from home but know it will be a very difficult endeavor.
Lorainne Counihan, the Ireland manager, said: “The English are very difficult to breakdown. The squad last season were very physical, well organised and a technically gifted outfit.
“I believe they’ve had a week in Valencia during the mid-term to play a number of friendly games, recording some notable results. We look forward to testing ourselves against the best”.
