It’s a busy weekend for Donegal boxers who are in finals action in the Girl 1 to 6 Championships at the National Stadium.

Letterkenny ABC’s Muireann Bradley gets the weekend off and running tonight with five other Donegal boxers set to go through the famed South Circular Road ropes tomorrow.

Bradley faces Rosslare’s Lauren Mullally in the Girl 2 39kgs final.

Bradley’s bout starts a frenetic weekend for Donegal punchers with Leah Gallen, Cody Lafferty, Carlagh Irving, Brenda Collins and Anna Doherty all set for finals tomorrow.

European bronze medallist Gallen (Raphoe ABC) faces Linda Desmond from Rylane in the Girl 6 final at 66kgs.

Her Raphoe ABC team-mate Cody Lafferty is up against Portlaoise’s Janlin Rodin in the Girl 6 48kgs final.

Illies Golden Gloves woman Irving squares off with Caitlyn O’Connor (Kilfenora) at Gil 3 47kgs with Dunree ABC hopeful Collins against Macy Cunningham from Crumlin in the Girl 4 45kgs final.

Doherty, another Dunree woman, takes on Nicole Buckley, representing St Carthages, in the Girl 5 43kgs final.

Elsewhere, there are nine Donegal boxers in Ulster final action this weekend: Liam Crawford, Liam McMonagle and Daire Feeney (Raphoe ABC); Daniel Campbell (St Bridget’s, Clonmany); Jesse Callaghan (Illies); Alex Harkin (Dunree); Dean Doherty (Carndonagh); Odhrán McGinley (Dunfanaghy); and Harry Good (Letterkenny).
